İŞKUR Delegation Visits Azerbaijan
In line with the action plan signed within the scope of the 10th Meeting of Türkiye-Azerbaijan Joint Permanent Commission for Labour and Social Security, information and experience sharing that started between Azerbaijan State Employment Agency and İŞKUR within the framework of employment services, active labour services and job and vocational counselling services continues. In this context, İŞKUR Delegation under the presidency of the Deputy Director General Mr. Samet Güneş paid a study visit to Azerbaijan between November 1 and 3.
İŞKUR delegation visited the Azerbaijan State Employment Agency and received information about the activities carried out from DMA Chairman Mustafa Abbasbeyli and managers. A detailed presentation regarding İŞKUR services, especially active labour services was made to DMA officials.
During the study visit, the trainees who accomplished vocational trainings organised by Quba-Haçmaz Regional Directorate of DMA were given their certificates. In addition, DOST Agency that was founded within the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and provides the services of the Ministry under a single umbrella was visited, and the local level practices carried out for job seekers and employers by DMA and the Ministry were observed in place.
The study visit ended as a result of negotiations on strengthening cooperation between the agencies and increasing common study areas.
